You ever drive down the road at dawn and see an image on the side of the road and wonder why a man is standing there at 6:00 in the morning, pitch black, in dark clothes? I've done this enough times to realize that these are things I see without my glasses. That wasn't a man I saw. It was a roadside sign next to a bush. Or it was a trashcan with something sticking out of the top. These are things we see but aren't actually what we see.
The snow pile in the picture is a perfect example. It was a snowman until a day of sun melted it. now it looks like a bust of somebody. See what I mean?
This is the silliness I deal with daily, my man-child and my child. They like to put me through every emotion and gang up on me. But, they really know who's in charge...Mayhem.
I don't have enough between work, home, and lacrosse. So, I added bees to the mix. I started with two hives, went into Winter with five hives, and came out with four. Spring has officially started. But, it's not Bee Spring yet. I'll some of their stories into the mix. But, if you really want to follow the weekly trials and tribulations of honey bees, follow me on Instagram, @beeandstein.
